Holmium Laser Resection of Bladder tumor

Holmium laser has been used to resect the bladder tumors. The coagulative effect of the laser has been shown to achieve quick Hemostasis and provides specimen for adequate histopathological evaluation.

The adjoining video shows a 55 year old male who had presented with clot retention due to hematuria and necessitated cystoscopic evacuation of clots under anaesthesia. The fronded tumor was resected using holmium laser in the same sitting.
